Party Planning tips

Party Entertainment comes in many forms and is the primary method of keeping guests and co-workers involved in your party.

You don’t want them to become bored, then the party is memorable in a bad way.

Games are very popular ways to keep those of all ages entertained.

The type of game will usually vary depending on the guests at your party.

Prizes as incentives would be a strong motivator for the games organized.

For example: Ladies would like rewards that could include a little pampering.

don’t have to be expensive. It could be a “forfeit “ too from a colleague to give a 3mins head and shoulder massage to a winner!

Very team bonding experience too!

It can be fun and energizing or

Music is another important form and part of party entertainment.

Slow and relaxing. You can influence the moods of your guests depending on what kind of music you play and when.

If you want the party to get started play something with a fast tempo and a strong beat.

If its late and you want to get everyone calmed down and out of the house so you can clean up start playing slow music.

They’ll either calm down or get bored and leave. Remember to play music that’s appropriate to the audience.

A great form of interaction and way to bring in hire some entertainment for your party.

Setting a theme to the party often engage and get the guest excited.

You could hire actors, dancers (us!) to enact a small drama and mingle with the guests.

Bellydancing Hen’s Parties in Taranaki

On the 8th of January. we were invited to Manda’s Hens’ party, organized by good friend and bridesmaid, Stacey O’Dowd. We had a dance circle, dance off with all hen’s in the lawn, on a good sunny and windy day. Alexandria and myself were impress with how ready to dance the girls were. Some were shy, but after the 1st music and workout, everyone was shimmying and rolling their hips, dancing to each other!

Hen’s parties with bellydancing a fabulous! Its a great way to show some love, have ball, laughs and hugs. We love getting you girls exploring and expressing and remember its a fertility and celebration dance to each other!

Need to dress the venue to a theme? We can assist to package entertainment with set-up to include sound and lights. Need someone help heat up the dance floor and get the audience going? 5th Element Dance & Entertain at INNOVATE NZ awards night

With an Arabian Nights theme at the TSB showplace,  we were engaged for the awards night to entertain and ‘energize’ over two hundred and twenty guests. Conducted by ACENZ, The Association of Consulting Engineers, “INNOVATE NZ” was an annual award evening in recognition of our countries’ best consulting engineers. New Zealand’s engineering and consulting profession gathers for an evening to honour winning projects with a series of awards winning projects. Held on 31st July 2010, the evening was hosted by Mike McRoberts, award winning journalist and reporter with TV3.

Rosalina Pang of 5th Element Bellydance responded, we were really rapped as we had the previlage to share a prestigious evening and share the joy with nation’s best and their winning projects.
